Chamomile tea after boiling it hot water has sedative, antispasmodic, carminative, and digestive effects. During flu-season it has diaphoretic effect and is rinsing the throat. It provides good results in application of stomach and intestinal ulcers and inflammation. It is good to embrocate the eyes, to grease the tooth-gums, it also helps the wounds to get healed easily.
